AHMED R. ALI

PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER

Ahmed R. Ali is the President and Founder of TISTA Science and Technology Corporation.
Experience
Ahmed is a U.S. Navy Veteran, with over 30 years of military, federal government, and civilian experience in engineering, information technology, cybersecurity, and project/program management.  While serving, Ahmed worked on various aspects of engineering, fire control radar, weapons systems, electronic warfare, and communications. Ahmed served onboard an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer and completed multiple deployments throughout the world in support of various military operations. Duty stations included Recruit Training Command (IL), Naval Surface Warfare Center (VA), Pearl Harbor (HI), Bolling Air Force Base (DC), and the Pentagon (DC).
Education
Ahmed received his B.S. in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland, an M.S. in Cybersecurity from Capitol Technology University, and holds an MBA with a concentration in International Business.  Ahmed has also completed further executive level education programs at Harvard University, Georgetown University, and Dartmouth College.
Interests
Ahmed enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports, supporting various charitable organizations, different cuisines, traveling, and exploring the world.
 

JOSEPH RHODES

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Joseph Rhodes leads TISTA Science and Technology Corporation's (TISTA) strategic course as the CEO.
Experience
Joe previously served as TISTA’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). Prior to joining TISTA, he served in senior executive leadership roles with Kforce Government Solutions (KGS) and General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). Joe has a proven history of providing highly rated solutions to multiple healthcare, intelligence, and homeland security agencies. He also has a wealth of experience in results-driven agile management and innovation approaches, with a focus on high-performance computing and analytics.
Education
Joe holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Mary Washington, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech.
Interests
Joe enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and staying physically active outdoors whenever possible. He has a passion for continual learning, particularly around future technologies and concepts.

NATHAN SETH

CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER

Nathan Seth is TISTA's Chief Growth Officer, responsible for leading business development strategy, driving long term strategic partnerships, and identifying new markets and clients.
Experience
Nathan joined TISTA in 2017, having had 22 years of experience in architecting and implementing leading-edge technology solutions in health-IT domain, media and entertainment, API lead revenue generations, web hosting, telecommunications, e-commerce, m-commerce, online advertising, and financial industries. Prior to joining TISTA, he served as CTO in KGS (Kforce Government Solution), held several technical leadership roles in AOL and Wells Fargo, and served as technical consultant to AT&T and IBM.
Education
Nathan holds a Master of Technology Management degree from George Mason University, an MBA from Strayer University, Postgraduate Diploma in Plastics Engineering from CIPET, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Karnatak University, India. He is a certified Federal CIO from the Federal CIO Council.
Interests
Nathan enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new technologies, volunteering and spiritual enrichment.

He is a Certified Product Manager (CPM) and Certified Product Marketing Manager (CPMM) from the Association of Product Management and Product Marketing (AIPMM), tackling the challenges of Big Data Certification from MIT, a Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA), and an Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certified Enterprise Architect.

MICHAEL ROBERTS

CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

Michael Roberts heads TISTA's IT, information security, and innovation initiatives, ensuring that TISTA employees can provide the high delivery quality TISTA is known for.
Experience
Michael Roberts has over 20 years of experience managing and implementing complex IT, development and security projects, with emphases in big data/analytics, application development, and agile methodologies across a diverse array of federal government, technology, banking, and insurance entities.
Education
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio.

Michael enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new technologies, and volunteering.

RAJESH GORE

VICE PRESIDENT, DELIVERY

Rajesh is focused on developing technical strategy and establishing a digital transformation journey focusing on cloud transformation, artificial intelligence, workflow streamlining tools, big data engineering, and big data analytics in the Health-IT Domain.
Experience
Rajesh is an accomplished technology and business executive, and has more than 29 years of experience architecting, and implementing leading-edge technology and innovative solutions in Health-IT domain. He has long history of supporting customers in defining their technical strategy, providing value and results, and supporting their business needs.
Education
Rajesh holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Pune University, India.

Rajesh enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new technologies, and staying physically active outdoors whenever possible.

LUKE THOMAS

VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Luke Thomas is a seasoned business development leader with an exceptional track record of partnering with government agencies to provide meaningful outcomes. In his newly created role at TISTA, he will collaborate with business units to deliver innovative solutions to government clients and drive growth.
Experience
Luke has over 7 years of business development experience supporting Veterans Affairs. His focus has been on helping streamline the Veteran experience by utilizing technology and keeping the Veteran at the center of every solution. During his tenure supporting the VA, he has overseen dynamic teams that have harnessed their skills and in-depth knowledge to win over $1 billion in federal contracts.His philosophy is that it takes a village and that putting customers first is critical to a successful business development strategy.

Education
Luke has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a Minor in Sport Management. He is currently pursuing an MBA from Capella University.
Interests
Luke enjoys spending time with his wife, Jamie, and two boys, Joey and Josh, and including his two dogs, Cypress and Ozzie, whenever possible. He also enjoys being active, playing golf and softball, or going on a run. He enjoys seeing other people succeed and firmly believes that working together makes us stronger in business and life.

DAVE SLONIKER

VICE PRESIDENT, SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Experience Dave Sloniker is a former member of the Senior Executive Service and retired Army Medical Service Corps officer with over 30 years of experience specializing in Healthcare Supply Chain.  In his newly created role at TISTA, he will collaborate with business units to deliver innovative solutions to government and commercial clients and drive growth integrating the Healthcare IT and Supply Chain sectors.During Dave’s tenure at the VA he was responsible for Supply Chain Modernization efforts across the Department of Veterans Affairs.  During Dave’s Army career, he led organizations that provided direct healthcare delivery, healthcare supply chain IT solutions, and medical materiel and biomedical maintenance logistics services.EducationDave holds a Master of Strategic Studies from the US Army War College, a Master of Business Administration from Webster University, and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Washington, Seattle.  Recently, Dave completed courses in Influence and Persuasion in Leadership and Effective Organizational Communications from Harvard University.Interests Dave in enjoys spending time with his family which is becoming increasingly difficult as both of his adult children are Active-Duty Army Medical Service Corps officers.  Dave also enjoys reading, traveling, experiencing new cultures, stand-up paddleboarding, and is an Advanced Rescue rated SCUBA diver. 

ULRIKE NASSHAN

VICE PRESIDENT, GROWTH - FEDHEALTH

Ms. Nasshan brings more than 20 years of strategic leadership, advisory and management of modernization efforts at federal government agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs (Health IT), Department of Health and Human Services (NIH/AHRQ/ONC) and Department of Education. She has extensive experience leading diverse, high-performing teams in the design and delivery of cost-effective solutions at the project, program and portfolio level following agile and SAFe development processes, including DevOps and cloud migration. Building trusted relationships with senior management and serving as the liaison between business and technical teams promotes the delivery of solutions meeting customer expectations, business value and agencies mission.

Ms. Nasshan completed her MBA in IT Management and holds a Diploma in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University in Toronto/Canada.
Interests
Ms. Nasshan enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, traveling, and volunteering.

LAUREN R. LAWRENCE

Lauren heads TISTA’s Associate Advocacy programs which support talent in a variety of ways including empowerment and engagement.
Experience
Lauren has over 20 years of talent experience primarily in government contracting and technical professional services. Her strengths include leading HR and talent teams to produce effective programs and strategies that support our talent experience while driving business results. Lauren has extensive experience in developing and implementing creative programs to attract, retain, and engage highly sought-after skillsets in competitive environments. She truly enjoys understanding talent, markets, and business to engage in TISTA’s employee-centric and community-minded culture.

Lauren earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.

Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and being outdoors. Lauren and her family also spend time volunteering in their local community.

BRAD TRUXELL

VICE PRESIDENT, CONTRACTS

Brad Truxell leads TISTA’s Contracts and Compliance team responsible for overall cradle to grave contracting, procurement, and overall compliance. Brad is responsible for identifying and mitigating risk, while ensuring the TISTA team meets our contractual and management requirements.
Experience
Brad has over 15 years of contracts experience in contracts management. His experience includes work at large and small businesses’ providing full lifecycle contract management support, negotiating, managing contract performance, vendor management, procurement, and auditing. Brad leverages his strong technical skills and business acumen to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver results.

Brad holds a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University.
Interests
Brad enjoys spending time with his family. Brad has recently begun attempting to play golf and enjoys participating in and watching sports.

ELIZABETH MATHEW

VICE PRESIDENT, CORPORATE SERVICES

Elizabeth Mathew is an accomplished IT professional with over 25 years of experience having a remarkable track record of modernizing state and federal government agencies.
Experience
Elizabeth's strategic acumen and technical expertise drive transformative initiatives, modernizing and optimizing TISTA's customer landscape, enhancing productivity and resource allocation for TISTA's Federal clients. She oversees a portfolio of diverse programs and projects with exceptional delivery, operations and (P&L) management, driving successful outcomes on complex projects including infrastructure upgrades, seamless migrations with minimal downtime resulting in improved operational efficiency and client satisfaction.Beyond her operational expertise, Ms. Mathew is passionate about mentorship and invests in the growth of TISTA's Associates, nurturing future generations of technologists and leaders. She fosters an environment of continuous learning and personal and professional development to ensure the company's talent pool remains future-ready.

SEAN WARNER

VICE PRESIDENT, CORPORATE SERVICES

Sean Warner is an action-oriented leader managing the operations of a portfolio of programs and projects across the CMS, VA and, FedCiv business units. He is instrumental in organizing people and process initiatives working with corporate departments to preserve TISTA’s Associate First, Customer Obsession, and Data-Driven culture.
Experience
Sean has over 25 years of experience working with the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services performing a variety of technical tasks from data analytics, quality control, lean management of IT technologies, application development, project management, and customer engagement. He is experienced in managing portfolio-level financials, human resources, assessing talent, and converting customer needs into business solutions.
Education
Sean completed his MBA in Marketing and Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from York College of Pennsylvania.
Interests
Sean enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth soccer, and being a positive role model for kids. He holds a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo and enjoys the leadership which comes from the discipline. He enjoys his gardens and the peace of the outdoors.

JOHN WARREN

VICE PRESIDENT, CUSTOMER ADVOCACY

As VP of Customer Advocacy, John Warren leads the Austin Ecosystem and is responsible for delivering customer delivery excellence and optimizing Austin-based business.
Experience
John Warren is a seasoned professional with a background of: leading Digital Transformation, managing change on a large scale, implementing mission critical systems, and developing and leading strong effective teams. His hands-on experience and insights span management issues of start-ups, hyper-growth, and mature businesses. His business acumen was formed with over 20 years of experience in Private and Global 500 companies, and in Government to include: Dell, KPMG, KGS (KForce Government Solutions), and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Education
John holds an MBA in Management, gaining membership in the National Honors Society in Business Management, and a BBA in Finance with minors in Biology and Psychology, both from St. Edward’s University, Austin, TX.
Interests
John enjoys traveling the world and immersing in local culture; has a passion for nature and science; is blessed spending time with family; and is enriched volunteering, especially for homeless and veteran causes.He is also fluent in Spanish and has 6 years international experience implementing business best practices and supporting information technology in 7 European countries, Mexico, Canada, Japan, Australia, and Malaysia.
