I’m pleased to announce that version 1.1 of the TISTA COVID-19 app has been released for web and mobile. This application provides stats and heatmaps for allowing TISTA associates to understand their risk and for TISTA leadership to understand how best to direct support.
Version 1.1 contains several new features, including, but not limited to:
- A new heatmap that shows cases per 100,000 residents to make it easier for associates to understand the impact of the pandemic in their areas
- A new associate-impact heatmap that allows TISTA leadership to learn which associates are most impacted by COVID-19
- Display of active cases in heatmap tooltips, which make it easier to browse the heatmaps
- Numerous performance improvements
These features are illustrated by the following images:

Note that these features are still under development and are subject to change as they mature.
In addition to the above, the Special Projects team has enhanced the project infrastructure to enable seamless blue-green releases and a new “internal” domain for viewing TISTA-specific features. TISTA associates should use the new domain, while the existing domain continues to work for the general public.
The 1.2 release, due out next week, contains a number of new features that should make the app more usable for associates and leadership.
If you have any feedback on the new release, please email me.
Thanks, and stay safe.
